To say that Paul Wharton’s hair has been “his thing” throughout his adult life and career is an understatement. For a person with curly, dark hair to have worn it with blonde highlights and constant blow outs with flat iron finishing, Paul had to learn a thing or two about how to keep it healthy, shiny and bouncy, a taste that hasn’t always been easy on weeks when he would sit to have it done 3, 4 and 5 times! Most people of a certain age have some kind of color, whether it be to cover grey hair or to highlight or low light their natural color. If you want to experiment with color, you want to keep it looking fresh. To keep your new color treatment from fading, wash your hair with cool water, never hot. I know that sounds awful but the cool water helps to seal in the cuticle and keep your hair from looking frizzy and rough.  Maintaining healthy hair has a lot to do with managing extreme conditions when it comes to taking care of your hair. Blow dry your hair on a warm or even cool setting. Hair is very vulnerable when it's wet and is most prone to damage by heat and rough treatment. Also, don’t wash your hair daily to retain moisture and to keep your color from fading. Use our Juj color protecting, moisturizing and Keratin enriched shampoos and conditioners to keep your hair strong and ready to grow. Brush your hair when it's dry and comb it with a wide tooth comb when it's wet. You should always brush gently and mostly to distribute the oils in the scalp and distribute product evenly.
